Motivating Heavy Metal For Lifting Heavy Metal

Recommended Posts

Discovered 2 new bands:

40 second build up to unleash a fury upon this world.

The first half of the song is a good way to prepare for the set, starting from 1:30 you should be tearing the gym down... make it look like the apocalypse there.

Actually I'm old enough to understand the definition of modern non-pop metal music. The only things that I mind for are the record company, the views and how this sounds to me.

Like it or not.

Not really a metal album, sort of like blackened hardcore or something, but this album is untouchable for lifting for me!

Definitely not metal, and I usually like fair bit heavier songs for lifting but for some reason these work like a charm.

During my workouts, I like some old school White Zombie, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and many more from my days of youth.

I fancy a bit of Tool - anyone suggest what album to start with?

Thanks

I'd say Lateralus or 10,000 Days, though they don't really have any bad albums.

I likes me metal! A mixture of traditional - Priest, Maiden, Sabbath, Saxon - and newer stuff - Alter Bridge, Pantera, FFDP and others.

Hard to beat a bit of Power Metal though for lifting...

Just stumbled onto this band myself.
