Difference Between Doing Cardio Before/after Begginer Workout?!

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, first post here

I've just started the SL Begginer Program and was curious about doing cardio. Should i do the cardio before or after the workout? Any idea if it has impact on gaining strength and muscle?

Thnx

if your focus is gaining strength, do the cardio after the lifting, better for the lifting to interfere with the cardio, than the cardio to interfere with the lifting

Cardio after, no question. You want to be focusing on correct form in the lifts when you're fresh.

In my case, I always do cardio after, for the same reason Erelyes mentioned; the form is sooo important in lifting!

It's better the lift right and then do cardio than being too tired to lift :)

I like to go against popular advice and do cardio first. This is simply for the reason that the most effective cardio is the cardio you actually complete.
