Bench Press

1st Attempt - 275 pounds (125 kilograms) - FORM FAIL

2nd Attempt - 275 pounds (125 kilograms) - PASS

3rd Attempt - 280 pounds (127.3 kilograms) - FAIL

So I guess if this were a real meet, I would be OUT on bench, since I failed my first attempt :(

I actually locked out the first attempt out, but my butt came off the bench. It was so bad, I didn't even include it in the video.

the girl by your side wanted to eat you lol. great lift man!

Deadlift

I added some music, so I don't think you can see this in Germany due to copyright infringement, even though I own the music.

You can skip to the last attempt

.

1st Attempt - 385 pounds (175 kilograms) - PASS

2nd Attempt - 405 pounds (184.1 kilograms) - PASS

3rd Attempt - 445 pounds (202.3 kilograms) - PASS

last one made you lose your form big time!

Nice deadlifts and nice total. I'm hoping to get just over 1000 lbs as well. I'll attempt all three lifts tomorrow.

That last deadlift.- no chalk and no straps??????!!!?!!?! WTF

So impressed - for someone who is a tad smaller than me - your strength is what I aspire to - immense.

Nah - despite his strength she looked bored - I reckon if you would have started wildly curling a 20kg dumbbell she would have loved you looonnnng time :-)

Great lifts Neil. Your squat form was very good even at a 1rm. A tad high, but this is just a test. Pass!

Happy with my bench today. Not so happy with the video. The angle is terrible, so you'll just have to trust that it was 205lb and it came to chest. First time I've lifted 205 in a year. Attempted 215lb but couldn't quite get it.

And today I weighed in at 182lb.

Bench at 205lb

Thanks Mike. Despite comments on bad form, my back feels great. I am aware of form breakdown, and was expecting it beyond 400. I'll build up to that in my regular program with better technique.

My glutes and hams are feeling a little more fatigued than usual, as well as overall sleepy. Think I may go to bed early today!

Thanks so much, Neil. You're too kind :) I did use chalk...always have.

Even if I am injured, it has been alomst a month without deadlifting, and without squatting over 200... I decided to participate with pain and all. I made some vids of my lifts today:

Squat: max at 265 pounds

Bench: max 205 pounds, failed at 210 pounds:

seems that the guy is helping me, but if we see closer, he doesn´t touch te bar at all.

Deadlift: max 315 pounds (with bad form due to the lack of practice for the last month):

I accept all kind of comments, good, and specially bad are welcome.

My weight today was exactly 200 pounds at 6'2"

Not sure how I lost 2 pounds. I'll see again tomorrow if it's a trend. I'm guessing not.

Verry nice lifts mate, especially that deadlift. Going by your numbers, that's exactly 2 x BW!

Wow, man, for a self professed cripple that hasn't lifted in a while, you smashed those lifts! Hope you enjoyed doing it, I know I did.
