The P R Thread

Recommended Posts

2lb tricep kickback?

10lb cheat curl in the squat rack?

200lb Quarter Squat?

Doesn't matter which movement, post a new PR in this thread to help motivate the Ironstrong Brotherhood and Sisterhood!

Edit: All rep PR's count, doesn't have to be 1 rep efforts!

Well, I've low bar squatted more, and did 90 for two the other week, but 80 kilos for 3x5 with HBBS today, and absolutely no shoulder/knee/lower back pain. Also, currently sitting at 75 kilos, and am aiming to drop at least 5 more in the coming weeks, so my squat is just gonna be even bigger and bigger than my bodyweight as the weeks go by.

Good idea - pinned the topic, and maybe in the back of my head I knew I needed to put something in here tonight

1x 182.5 - F'N PR time....

Also - the phone didnt record so this video is a collection of stills until VJ got it recording at the end, so I took a leaf out of Mouses book... :D

Awesome job fellows! Making me feel a little humble.

My latest best. 400 lb squat for a double preceded by a 377 lb double, preceded by 355 lb top sets of squats on Sheiko. And then to finish the workout with a second round of squats with top sets at 333 lbs.

Well done all. And yes Norm, the 2 plates press really is a nice milestone to reach....a similar feeling to the 500lb DL. I'm not actually sure which made me feel better as they were both tough nuts to crack. Maybe the press as I feel its less common and obviously it took me longer to achieve.
