  1. Radial Nerve Irriation?

    I squat high bar. Here's a video from last Friday: Yesterday I tried straightening out my wrists. I was already getting pulses of pain, but straightening the wrists didn't make it any worse, maybe that's what I've gotta focus on. Hahaha no need to apologize mate.. Just means I'll have to think twice before I flip the bird to someone today Thanks for that Keenan, I'll work on those today.
  2. Radial Nerve Irriation?

    This issue is relatively specific so I'm not sure if I'll get a lot of responses, but it's worth a shot. So, over the past week and a bit, while squatting, I've been getting some pain at the back of my forearm on the lateral side (the side that's in contact with the bicep when squatting). Today was the worst it has been yet. I did some investigations and found the the pain presents during full flexion of the elbow, and is worsened when extending the middle finger (srs, not trolling), leading me to believe the Extensor Digitorum muscle is the one most affected. In the same position, my brachialis also hurts. Irritation of the radial nerve would explain the pain in both muscles. So has anyone experienced this before? Or maybe have any general advice for injuries to nerves?

    Just from one of the local 'Baker's Delight' shops. I'm guessing you could probably get one from any bakery. Yeah definitely, I didn't reheat mine, but I think it probably would have been better

    Haha, what can be said about a sandwich that consists of so much alpha? It was f***ing amazing. The sweetness of the caramelized onions and mushrooms plus the saltiness of the bacon and cheese. And oh the steak, how brilliant the steak was. Next time (there will be a next time) I'll have to experiment with a few different sauces and marinades for the meats. One cannot comprehend how awesome this sandwich was through pictures or what has been said, one must experience the beast itself haha.

    Thanks Roel! For the sauce: - tomato paste - Worcestershire sauce (the liquidy kind, not the thicker, saucy type) - dijon mustard - water (I didn't use any measurements, just went by feel/taste) 1. Put some tomato paste in a small pan over a low-medium heat. 2. Add and mix in Worcestershire sauce until its sweet enough for your taste 3. Add and mix in dijon mustard for a little bit of a kick, you won't need much. 4. If it's too thick add some water. 5. Keep over the heat until it is nicely warmed through. Don't allow it to get too hot otherwise you'll never get it off the pan. If you like you could add some sugar/honey/syrup/whatever to make it sweeter, mine was a little salty but I didn't mind. I only made this because I'm not a fan of how much sugar/sweeteners are put into store-bought sauces + preservatives, colours, flavours etc. (I do realise it's a bit ironic that I care so much about the sauce despite everything else that's going into the sandwich haha)

  11. Ok People - When Is The Best Time To Train?

    I'm an evening lifter (8pm-10pm). I feel a lot more focused at night compared to the mornings where I'm a bit agitated and stiff. Plus I get to eat the whole day to fuel the workout like others have said. And its usually pretty empty at my gym around that time, which is convenient for me.

    Ken Alivio, checking in. I wasn't in touch with many of the more 'popular' members of the SL forums but I have found the few guys I kept in touch with regularly here. It was good to have everybody there for advice and general support - I was annoyed when I lost that. But I'm glad to see that the majority of us have regrouped here and hope to be able to interact with the rest of you. Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but I found it funny that a few days after the banning of the free members an email was sent regarding the re-opening of positions for Gold memberships. Medhi must really be scavenging for members after losing his loyal community.
